(phase one)

//  BACKGROUND & BRIEF  //

Tesco came up with the idea of helping the next generation of children, with the help of their families and teachers, have a healthier and happier relationship with food. They had already created a brand with another agency but were looking at Zone to help them create a platform.

//  THE SOLUTION  //

We worked alongside education material specialists to develop teaching toolkits – equipping teachers and parents with curriculum level lesson plans and activities that show children how the food they eat is grown and cooked. In addition offered Farm to Fork trails, where primary school children are invited to find out where their food comes from and how it is produced.

//  THE RESULTS  //

More than 8,500

primary schools signed up within six months of launch – that’s more than one in three in the UK. To date Online Field Trips have been viewed over 60,000 times, while more than 700,000 children have directly interacted with Eat Happy.
